What determines a "Favorite Song Lyric" of mine really depends on how the vocalist is saying the words/lyrics.

Like in Madonna - Vogue where she says "Beauty is where you fiii-ind it. Not just where you, bump & grind it."

I already mentioned Rush's lyrics, but on a more visceral level, Nine Inch Nails's "Hurt" (and also beautifully covered by Johnny Cash) is probably the most poignant song I have ever heard.
