Forum Guidelines

Lolcows are people and groups whose eccentric or foolish behavior can be "milked" for amusement and laughs. They are not countries, political figures, celebrities, your highschool bully, or some random YouTuber who doesn't involve himself in drama.

  • Be civil.

    Don't get angry over Lolcows. If you need to tell people you're better than someone, you're probably not.

  • Hide your powerlevel.

    Avoid revealing intimate, embarrassing details about yourself. This is not your blog and we are not an asylum.

  • Don't backseat moderate.

    You are not a moderator. You do not decide if a thread is to remain open or not. You do not decide if someone is a lolcow or not.

  • Don't white knight.

    Don't turn threads into an intervention. If you want to help, contact them privately. True lolcows reject advice.

  • Do not create topics about forum members.

    If you believe someone discovered by their account on the forum deserves a thread, ask staff first.

  • No trolling plans.

    We are not an autistic Illuminati. If you embarrass yourself or the forum trying to troll, we will ridicule you.

  • Topic titles should contain aliases.

    Keep thread titles as brief as possible and use all their different usernames.

  • Archive everything.

    Use archival tools to preserve content forever. Upload directly to posts where applicable.

  1. Bill and Bob Clark are 60-odd year old twins whose personal endeavors spread across multiple forums, in particularly, a forum dedicated to debunking bullshit. The twins have spent over ten years sperging about ''sea serpents in San Fransisco Bay''. Typically, a response from the twins will warrant a novel's reply, and petty insults.

    Since the thread is over 150 pages long, I'll offer a few screenshots that portray the gist of it;

    After searching their screen name, ''sfseaserpent'', another website came up;

    They were also featured on an Animal X 'documentary', which was cringy; though I had the link to the video yesterday it appears to have been taken down.

  3. The photo was a still from video footage that the twins ordered payment for in order for others to watch it. The footage itself was shown on a documentary, and one of the footage analyzers concluded that it was a flock of birds skimming near the shore. The twins didn't like this conclusion, so instead they consulted cryptozoologists to give them the conclusion they wanted.

  4. I'm asking because there is no photo in the thread. I think the forum has guest attachments disabled. This is a 150 page thread with a huge number of posts; if you have an account there you should screenshot some of the best moments. It'd help your thread.

  6. I was a cryptozoologist once. I studied mythological creatures in depth. I even tried searching for some. I really wanted to believe all those fascinating creatures from folklore were really out there, that our world was just a bit more fantastic than it is on the surface.

    I was 10 years old at the time, by the way.

    These guys are how old, again?

    Edit: the website seems to have had some recent activity, if anyone wants to give them a shot.

  8. http://www.skepticforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=1098

    They call themselves ''Bill and Bob Clark''.

    His username reflects his obsession. He believes that there is a sea serpent, essentially a biblical dragon, living in the San Francisco bay. He's spammed hundreds of websites with this notion, often signing up on multiple websites just to make topics about it. He says he has had over a dozen sightings of these dragons and often resorts to insulting and belittling skeptics rather than offering the evidence he claims to have.

    Typically asking for evidence will warrant a response such as this:
    [IMG]

    [IMG]
    I'm unsure if they really are two people, or his ''brother'' is just a part of whatever delusions this guy has going on. This guy has a very eccentric internet footprint, and another alias he goes by is ''DawgfaninCa''. He will often invade topics that have nothing to do with dragons and essentially derail threads to make them all about him and these imaginary magical dragons he hallucinates/deludes himself into seeing. Even if this guy's a troll, he's been doing this since 2004-2005 almost every single day. That's some dedication that by itself I think deserves a spot on here.

    https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant...tal-remains-of-18-meter-long-dragon/73194310/

    They even have a website to cater to their obsession, which is basically their little echo chamber: http://home.access4less.net/~sfseaserpent/

    http://home.access4less.net/~sfseaserpent/id7.html

    According to ''sfseaserpent'', the photo below is of a baby dragon's head and an example of their ''evidence'';

    [IMG]

    [IMG]
    ''Sfseaserpent'' posted the former image to SkepticForum, proclaiming it as undeniable evidence, where the members there thought he was joking. Sfseaserpent then acted dumbfounded as to why they could not see a dragon's head. Usually such posts follow up with long winded rants that most people can't be bothered to read.

    They also like to sperg about their supposed sighting by drawing diagrams just in case it's too hard to follow;

    ''Sfseaserpent'' vandalizes a fishing forum - http://www.pierfishing.com/msgboard...&start=0&sid=d07e5781afa2de32f375a24bbeaa253a

    They were also active on Wikipedia at one point, most of their time was spent on the ''sea serpent'' article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Sea_serpent

    They're also particularly fond of people who dub themselves as ''cryptozoologists'' as a search of their alias also popped up this page - http://www.cryptozoonews.com/bousfield-obit/

    There's loads more but I don't feel like copying all the links. Obsession is a dire understatement and this is ALL they ever talk about. They're apparently in their 60's or 70's. They've been banned or kicked off of loads of forums because the members there got sick of their crap.

    They'll also like quoting the Bible as if this gives credence to their claims of giant 150 ft reptilian apex-predator dragons living in San Fransisco Bay (that no one's ever photographed or seen).

    Source: http://www.skepticforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=1098&start=5760

    An example of the kinds of responses they give;

    [IMG]

    [IMG]
    [IMG]
    [IMG]
    A video about ''Oarfish'' is enough to trigger off their sea serpent rants:
    [IMG]
    More Bible sperging;
    [IMG]
    They claim their first ''sighting'' was in 1985, which means this behavior has been going on for nearly 40 years and they've wasted 40 years of their life to this nonsense. It doesn't seem like it's going to stop anytime soon. They'll also repeat phrases word for word like a broken record and go on convoluted rants that are full of insults, rhetorical questions and a holier-than-thou attitude that's far from subtle.

    Along with the sea serpent delusions that would be out of place even in the 1500's, he also believes that he's a reincarnated space-alien who remembers being brought before some ''galactic panel'' before he was born that determined he could be sent to earth, and as you can see in this thread here, he doesn't deny this - https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant...s-not-a-constitutional-right/75362326/page-6/

    [IMG]

    He's harassed this marine biologist dude named John E. McCosker about sea serpents to the extent he almost called the cops on him and he says so (without any self awareness) in this thread here -

    https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant...-us-presidents-since-wilson/60964555/page-12/

    In addition he made a sockpuppet account to bump his sea serpent thread and tried to make it look like it wasn't him even though the writing pattern was exactly the same between accounts. The mods knew it was him, so they anchored his sea serpent thread and also the thread he made about why his thread got anchored.

  15. Doesn't San Francisco Bay have tires that are tied together and area's where sea lions get to sit on?

    Even Clifford Paiva claims that their videos just show a group of animals, not one large one.

    It's nice that they think somethings out there but Bob and Bill, you've been chasing after something that's not there for 30 years. You'd have better luck finding something on the east cost or going north to British Columbia

  18. These poor autists will never have a chance to see their beloved sea serpants EVAR again, up here in Vancouver we lured them to the shore by wafting fumes of poutine out to sea while playing the entire Rush discography at half speed underwater, where we hauled them out, gaffed and gutted them and then sold the parts to Chinese labour barons who turned the organs into boner medicine for rich Chinese with small peepees and the skin into Donald Trump branded gatorskin wallets for stupid Americans with smaller peepees and brains. (The smart Americans buy our world-class weed instead.)

    True story, fam.
